Why so small
The shortest line between a tree and your kitchen
Most fruit you buy has spent days in a box. Ours has spent hours in the open air. That is the whole idea, and it only works if we stay small enough to pick everything by hand on the morning you come.
And nothing here is sprayed. Not the cherries, not the beans, not the ground they grow in. That costs us fruit every year, and we have made our peace with it.
What we do not do

- No sprays No pesticides, no herbicides, on anything, in any season.
- No cold room Nothing sleeps in cold storage overnight.
- No shipping No boxes, no couriers, no next-day anything.
- No early picking Nothing comes off the tree before it is ready, even if that means we have none that day.
